At the Royal Abbey of Fontevraud

Placed under the High Patronage of Mr Sébastien Lecornu, the French Minister of the Armed Forces and sponsored by the French Army Staff, the FONTEVRAUD 2023 Symposium offers a three-day event with meetings, exhibitions, discussions, and demonstrations, in the heart of the Royal Abbey of Fontevraud, near Saumur, France. Senior officials from the French Army Staff, the French General Delegation for Armament (DGA), the French Ministry of the Interior, as well as many international EU and NATO dignitaries are expected to participate in the various panels. Fontevraud 2023 is organized by GIE Défense NBC for the CRBRN international community.

Fontevraud 2023: The Future of CBRN defense policy

3 days, 12 conferences and round tables to reflect on the future of CBRN in terms of doctrinal skills and capabilities.
High-level speakers will cover the following topics:

  • New conflict: a shift in the CBRN defense paradigm
  • What operational commitment?
  • The challenges of protecting the national territory
  • National Sovereignty.

An exhibition area with booths dedicated to international manufacturers wishing to show their new products, innovations, and technologies in the field.

Dynamic demonstrations on the military camp of Fontevraud, with the support of the 2nd regiment of dragons.

Many moments of networking and conviviality are planned during coffee breaks, lunches, and dinners.
